Cancellation, Refund & Credit Policy

Effective Date: July 7, 2025

All fees, payments, tuition, and registration costs paid to Florida Explorers Association, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Florida Explorers" or "the Organization") are NON-REFUNDABLE. Florida Explorers Association is a nonprofit educational organization, and all funds and fees collected go directly to supporting our educational programs and students. We sincerely appreciate your ongoing support and active participation.

In the event that a Participant must cancel their registration, a written request for consideration may be submitted to a Florida Explorers administrator. Cancellation requests submitted prior to the applicable registration deadline may be considered on a case-by-case basis, at the sole discretion of Florida Explorers. If approved, any credit or partial refund issued shall be less all applicable processing and administrative fees. Approval of any such request is not guaranteed and shall not establish precedent for future requests.

In the event that Florida Explorers must cancel a program, event, or offering due to unforeseen circumstances — including but not limited to weather, venue unavailability, instructor emergency, insufficient enrollment, or other circumstances beyond the Organization's control — Florida Explorers is committed to acting in a manner that is morally and ethically responsible toward its families. In such cases, the Organization shall, at its sole discretion, offer one or more of the following remedies based on whichever option or combination of options is most feasible:

• Rescheduling the program or event to an alternate date;
• Issuing a credit toward a future Florida Explorers program or event; or
• Providing a full or partial refund of fees paid for the cancelled offering.

Florida Explorers shall notify affected families of the selected remedy in a timely manner. The determination of which remedy or combination of remedies is offered shall be at the sole discretion of the Organization and shall be final.

• Credits issued by Florida Explorers are non-transferable and must be used within twelve (12) months of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Florida Explorers reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Participants will be notified of any material changes in writing or by electronic communication.
• This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
• This policy is incorporated into and forms a part of the Code of Conduct & Participant Agreement and the Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Express Assumption of Risks, Covenant Not to Sue, and Hold Harmless Agreement executed by the Participant.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the Cancellation, Refund & Credit Policy set forth above. I understand that all fees paid to Florida Explorers Association, Inc. are non-refundable except as expressly provided herein. I further acknowledge that this policy is a binding component of my overall agreement with Florida Explorers Association, Inc.
