About Membership
Florida Explorers Association is committed to cultivating a passion for learning and fostering lifelong learners by providing hands-on educational opportunities for students. Our organization is continually seeking innovative ways to raise funds while striving to keep costs affordable while supporting families.
Florida Explorers Association is an approved provider for Step Up For Students. Most of our educational offerings are available in the EMA ScholarShop as a direct payment option.
Membership Benefits
As an educational nonprofit organization, we encourage families to become members. This not only supports our initiatives but also maximizes the benefits available to your family. Each family membership includes a unique portal account, allowing you to view and manage program registrations, receipts, and payments. Additionally, member accounts are registered to receive our emails, ensuring you are among the first to register and secure spots for upcoming offerings. Email notifications contain hyperlinked registrations for all events, eliminating the need to navigate our website for updates.
Florida Explorer Association heavily relies on membership fees to support its basic operational costs.
- The setup and initiation fee for a family account is a one-time charge of $80.00.
- Members can avoid yearly renewal fees ($47.00) by participating in at least four paid offerings during each academic calendar year (late August to May).
- Member benefits include priority event notifications and registrations and Florida Explorers e-mail subscription. Events have limited participant counts for a more personalized experience. Members enjoy access to year-long studies with aligned field trips and additional exclusive member events.

If you wish to learn more about our organization, please email us at Discover@flexplore rs.org with your questions. Please include your phone number and the best time of day for an administrator to contact you.
In the meantime, we invite you to explore our general events calendar, where you will find offerings available to non-member registrants. To facilitate growth and opportunities for new families to get acquainted with our community, Book Clubs and select Field Experiences are open to non-members. Initially, all offerings are available for member registration only; any remaining spots are then opened to non-members.
